Littleton

Littleton began as a farming community, growing food for the rush of gold miners headed West during the Pike Peak gold rush of 1859. A decade later, when the Denver and Rio Grande railroad reached Littleton, rapid growth followed. Littleton offers probably the widest range of condos and luxury homes ranging from $250k to $10 million.  There are so many areas to explore and great finds if you do not have to be right next to the city.  Still, many homes are 20 minutes or less.  Littleton spans as far north as Governors Ranch and Bow Mar as well as south to Roxborough Park with trails and scenery unparalleled in the Denver region!

Rail transit has once again brought growth to this historic community. Since July 2000, Littleton has been served by the regional Light Rail service, linking residents to all that Downtown Denver has to offer. But Littleton has its own vibrant Downtown too-tree-lined streets, historic buildings and a thriving retail economy. The character of Historic Downtown Littleton shifts with the season, from a winter wonderland and a festival of lights to a summer cafe, market, and festival venue.

Eight miles south of Denver, Littleton is a short drive or a light rail journey to Denver. Residents also hike or bike along the nearby Platte River.
